The Health Science curriculum is designed to prepare students for application and admission into one the BridgeValley selective admission programs:  nursing, medical laboratory technician, dental hygiene, emergency medical services, respiratory therapy, sonography or veterinary technology.  Students in their first and second semesters follow the courses for their intended selective admission program.

More About the Program

If the student is not admitted into one of the selective admission programs at the end of the second semester, the student will have the following options:  Transfer to Board of Governors Associate degree, transfer to another Associates degree or transfer to the Medical Assisting CAS or Medical Coding CAS program.
